TLC Recruitment has placed students within the industry since our inception in 1996.
At TLC involvement with our students doesn’t end at graduation. We take an active role in their development and assist them with career choices, based on progress in both their academic and practical training. Utilising our accumulative experience and resources in industry, we find employment we feel would be beneficial to them.

An update on some former students
1- GARETH FERREIRA
After completing his course at TLC Gareth went to work at the Ritz Carlton in Florida, United States. Upon his return he then applied to work in the United Kingdom where he worked at an hotel and in his “ off “ time taught snow boarding.
Coming back to South Africa he joined the Saxon Hotel where he progressed to become Assistant Manager and Sommelier and was then offered a position in Dubai at the Burj al Arab, the most luxurious hotel in the world as their head Sommelier and is now working towards his Master Sommelier
2- WESLEY HEPBURN
Also completed his course at TLC and went across to work at the Ritz Carlton in Florida United States. He returned to South Africa and started work at the Koi Restaurant in Melrose Arch where he became Manager. He was then recalled to the United States by the Ritz Carlton for a period of 18 months where he had to obtain special permission from the United States Embassy. After completing his period there he returned to the Koi Restaurant where he became General Manager and achieved his personal goal in making the Koi, the best restaurant for 2011.
He has now been offered a position at the Burg al Arab in Dubai
3- TSHEPO PHOKONTSI and THANDEKA SIKHUNDLA both graduated from TLC and both worked together at Lanseria Airport and then both went to work for Emirates Air. They have now started their own travel agency called T & T Travel – growing from strength to strength !
4- DIVESH FAKIR completed his course at TLC and went to work at the Protea Hotel Klerksdorp – he has now achieved the position of Manager and is planning on taking up his employment in Dubai
5- LOPANG MOGARI – completed her course at TLC and worked at Wilderness Safaris – she is now heading off for Dubai to work at FERRARI WORLD
